The Chevrolet Silverado is never short on power. For more demanding towing jobs, the 2500 and 3500 have always been there to work harder and pull more than the Silverado 1500. A redesign for the new decade makes the Silverado HD look great, but nobody buys a heavy-duty truck just because they think it looks nice. What heavy-duty customers really want is a towing machine. Perhaps one of the best towing machines in the customer market, the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is a force to be reckoned with. Chevrolet has been making pickup trucks longer than most, and their effort in engineering shows when you push the Silverado to really get work done. Even at its lowest trim level, the truck is rated to tow 10,000 lbs. of whatever. But that’s far from the most capable version of the Silverado.
